So, one of the blockbuster features of iOS5 was the wifi sync capability.
Unfortunately for me – this is not working.
I have tried everything – and I cannot get it to work reliably.
Sometimes it does work – so I know that I have the settings right.
Other times – it quits in the middle of a sync.
And yet other times – it does not work at all.
Wifi sync almost never runs automatically – usually I have to initiate the process manually from Settings > General > iTunes WiFi Sync and cross my fingers.
This problem happens on both the iPhone and the iPad.
I hope Apple fixes this – because the ability to be able to sync without having to give it a second thought is so useful.
Has anyone been able to get this to work consistently? I would love to know how you did it – please tell us the fix in the comments below.
