So today I awoke to this lovely message on my hp c6180 all in one printer display: “Pump Motor Stalled”.
Now this printer has been acting funny for about a month – giving me “ink system failure” love notes every now and again.
I finally came across a way to do a hard system reset – which fixed that problem (if you need to know how to do that, leave a comment here and I will post it).
So I thought I was home free.
Until this morning.
Pump motor stalled – doesn’t sound to good.
But the solution was easy. I just removed all of the ink cartridges. Then I closed the printer and waited for it to ask me to insert new cartridges.
Then I just put all the same cartridges back in the printer.
Problem solved!
Truth be told - I do believe that this solution is only temporary.
I will let you know when my printer sends me another little snippet of affection.
